Experienced Bicycle Mechanic Wanted: Join the Giant Vancouver & Liv Vancouver Service Team!

Are you a skilled bike mechanic with a passion for keeping bikes in top shape?

At Giant Vancouver and Liv Vancouver, we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cycling experience for our customers, and that includes ensuring their bikes are performing at their best. As one of Canada’s top dealers of Giant Bicycles and the first female-focused Liv Cycling boutique, we’re all about quality, service, and expertise. Our small, tight-knit team is looking for a talented and motivated Service Team Member to keep our customers’ bikes running smoothly—whether they’re gearing up for an epic ride, tackling trails, or just commuting around the city.

Who You Are:

You’re a seasoned mechanic with plenty of shop experience working on all types of bikes. From the newest road bikes to the toughest mountain bikes, you know how to get them in perfect working order. You’re up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry standards, and you’re always ready to learn more. Working with your hands is your passion, and you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Your passion also translates in an ability to communicate clearly with people, from customers to other team members, to ensure a transparent and efficient experience for all. You also enjoy working as part of a team and helping out wherever is needed—because at Giant Vancouver and Liv Vancouver, collaboration is key.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform High-Quality Repairs: Deliver top-tier workmanship on a wide range of bike repairs, maintenance, and tune-ups.
  • Stay on Top of New Tech: Keep up-to-date with the latest cycling technologies and standards, ensuring repairs meet industry-leading quality.
  • Efficient Service: Work efficiently to complete tasks on time without compromising quality, ensuring customers leave with their bikes running safely and smoothly.
  • Team Support: While your primary focus is bike maintenance, you’ll be ready to pitch in and help out around the shop when needed, whether that’s with customer service, event prep, or assisting with other tasks.


What You Bring:

  • Expertise in Bike Repair: Extensive experience in bike repairs across a wide range of bicycles, from commuter bikes to performance-level machines
  • Knowledge of New Tech: You’re up-to-date on the latest advancements in bike components and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in All Things Electronics: from E-bikes to electronic shifting, tech is taking over the bicycle industry and you’re familiar with these technologies and the troubleshooting they require
  • Attention to Detail: You’re committed to providing the highest level of service with every job, big or small.
  • Team Player: You work well with others and are happy to lend a hand where needed in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for Cycling: Whether you’re wrenching on bikes professionally or riding them for fun, your enthusiasm for cycling drives everything you do.
